"Tattiebogle" is a Scots word, meaning "scarecrow". It comes from two separate words, "tattie" which is potato and "bogle" which is a type of monster.
I chose it as I wanted a Scottish domain name for my personal site, and "tattiebogle" was a word I hadn’t heard for a long time, but I was fond of :)
